In 2024, MAS Greater LA delivered impactful youth initiatives focusing on spirituality, social justice, leadership, and community engagement.
We organized more than 36 events with over 6,000 participants.
And we expanded our reach by partnering with MAS Bay Area, ICNA-GLA, and MAS Arizona.
MAS Corona Center
In October 2024, MAS opened the MAS Corona Center at 4234 Green River Road in Corona. This vibrant community hub offers a diverse range of programs designed to strengthen connections to faith, promote fitness, enhance education, and foster personal growth.
Through engaging activities and meaningful initiatives, the MAS Corona Center continues to serve as a cornerstone for community enrichment and development.
2024 MAS Convention
The MAS Greater LA 27th Annual Convention was held at the Ontario Convention Center from November 28th to the 30th, 2024, under the theme “From Inspiration to Action.”
The convention team operates through 30 distinct committees, driven by the dedication of 275 volunteers—a remarkable 30% increase from the previous year.
MAS PACE (Political Activism & Community Engagement)
Established in 2024, MAS PACE has been instrumental in advocating for social justice and community empowerment.
Key efforts include co-sponsoring protests for Gaza, supporting student encampments at local campuses (with three members detained at UCI), and fostering activism.
