What isa waqf?
A waqf is one of the oldest forms of Islamic giving. Instead of being spent all at once, your gift is kept and invested, and only what it earns is used for good. The original gift stays in place, so it can keep benefiting the community for years to come.
We partner with Afterfund to manage our waqf, so every gift is invested in a Shariah-compliant way.

Afterfund is the platform MAS GLA uses to run our waqf. It holds and invests the gifts, and sends the returns to MAS Greater LA.
What does my gift support?
The returns support the ongoing work of MAS Greater Los Angeles, from youth programs and study circles to community service.
